que es app numbers

Description

Numbers, the powerful spreadsheet application made for the Mac, has been completely redesigned for iPad. Tap the bright Multi-Touch display to create compelling, great-looking spreadsheets in minutes. With over 250 easy-to-use functions, an intelligent keyboard, flexible tables, and eye-catching charts, all the answers are at your fingertips.

Numbers has everything you need to organize data, perform calculations, and manage lists. And you can do it all with just a few taps. Start with one of the beautiful Apple-designed templates and add your own tables and charts or open a Numbers ’09, Microsoft Excel or CSV file. Use predefined styles for tables, charts, images, and text to customize the look of your spreadsheet.

Enter data with ease using the intelligent onscreen keyboards — they’re designed specifically for working with numbers, text, dates, and formulas. Perform simple or complex calculations with over 250 functions that let you create your own formulas using a dedicated function keyboard and built-in help. Forms make it easy to enter data in a table when you’re on the go. And, in full-screen view, Numbers instantly summarizes selected data in different ways — by sum, average, min, max, and count. With a quick swipe, you can even see your data as a chart.

When your spreadsheet is complete, use full-screen view to show your work right on your iPad. You can also send your spreadsheet in Numbers ’09, Microsoft Excel or PDF format to anyone via Mail or iWork.com public beta, or copy it to your MobileMe iDisk, your Mac or PC, or to the web using WebDAV.

Using Numbers, you can:
- View and edit Numbers ‘09, Microsoft Excel, and CSV files from Mail, the web, your MobileMe iDisk, a WebDAV service, or your Mac or PC using iTunes File Sharing.
- Share your work by exporting it to Numbers ’09, Microsoft Excel, or PDF format and send it via Mail. Or, publish to iWork.com public beta.

Customer Reviews

No arrow keys/Lacks full Bluetooth Keyboard Support

Anyone who needs full keyboard support will find it frustrating at best, and useless most of the time. I am an economics major and the lack of this feature renders Numbers useless. There is at least one other spreadsheet app, Docs to Go, that gives full Bluetooth keyboard support.
Yeah!

Finally with excel support I can use it productively.
It's finally the real deal!

Although I was satisfied enough with the prior version to give it four stars, the addition of Excel export and the ability to transfer file to and from my MobileMe folders make this app a winner. Apple's suite of productivity apps (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers) makes my iPad a killer business tool when I am on travel for work. Whoever said the iPad isn't a productivity device has probably never touched one. Thanks Apple!
